The Mapping Project seeks to understand the current and potential capacity of the social enterprise sector in WA for imperatives such as Impact Investment, Social procurement policy and enterprise accreditation, Development potential and capacity building, and measurement of the impact of the sector in the economy in terms of job creation potential and social/environmental outcomes
The project will also inform the creation of a WA Social Enterprise Council/Network in conjunction with the Impact Investment Alliance of WA which launched recently. The linkage of the Alliance and a new Council/Network will create a link between funding sources and the sector, with the vision for the Social Enterprise Council being to:
